The popular ‘Pirate Week’ event at Powderham Castle, Exeter takes place between 22 – 27th July this year.
Powderham Castle’s very own Captain Jack Sparrow (played by the look-a-like actor Jonty Depp!) is looking for more crew members to join him in some pirate tomfoolery and hunt some treasure. There are a range of pirate activities taking place at set times throughout the day.
All of the pirate themed activities are included in the admission price
of your ticket into Powderham Castle, though you will require a session ticket to one of the arranged times, which you can collect on arrival.
Join Captain Sparrow on his treasure hunt and help him find some hidden booty and you could win a prize!
Powderham Castle is set in a beautiful, picturesque location and at over 600 years old is steeped in history and tradition, having been home to the same family since it was built in 1391. There is plenty to do at Powderham Castle besides the Pirate themed activities, with guided tours of the castle, and acres of outdoor space to discover. The castle is set within a deer park, and visitors can join a Deer Park Safari too!
